William Odie Sybert met Maud Dink Vest in Morgan County Alabama. After 
following his family to Ellis County, Texas in about 1900, Willie decided that 
everything he was looking for was back in Morgan County. He went back to 
Alabama to find Maud and ask her to marry him. After having a family of six 
children, Estelle (Big), Thelma (Melmer), Mildred (Little), Neil (Brub), 
Ethelynne (Et) and Billy, they moved to Little Rock, Arkansas......and the 
rest, as they say, is history.......Family History!!

By the time their marriage occured in 1903, the Vest and Sybert families had 
been in Morgan County for some 80+ years. Through this marriage, we find that 
our roots and branches stretch out to many other families in the County, such 
as: Sandlin, White, Milford, Breedlove, Key, Lane and many more of the early 
settlers in that area. 

While I have tried to be as accurate as possible with names and dates, there
